We are the one stop specialists in the recycling and ethical disposal of Electronic and Computer scrap (WEEE), aluminium cans and non-ferrous scrap. We can collect for FREE all bulk redundant IT equipment, waste aluminium cans and non ferrous metal scrap or you can arrange to drop off at our warehouse in Leeds.

Our Cash4Cans scheme, helps schools and community groups raise vital funds by collecting aluminium cans and we pay market value based on weight.
Our Ethos

Ucan Recycling is a not for profit recycling company based in a regeneration area in Leeds. As a Community Interest company (CIC) our aim is to put something back into the community rather than existing solely for commercial gain. Our ethos is to educate, encourage and engage local community groups about the importance of recycling with as much reuse as possible.

We are a social enterprise which is a mark awarded to businesses that meet certain criteria. A social enterprises mission is to try to make the world a better place – to be in business to use their profits to build a better society and protect the environment. As a social enterprise, Ucan Recycling’s aim is to reduce the amount of redundant IT and electronic equipment that goes into landfill, we do this by testing equipment and reuse where possible and strip down any recyclable material to then dispose of it ethically when it is scrap.

Our point of difference is that as well as increasing recycling rates around the Wyke and Yorkshire region, we are trying to put something back into the community by working with schools and community groups on recycling schemes on a voluntary basis and creating job opportunities for NEET and long term unemployed.
