Aotearoa Surf School have a range of services to suit any age or experience level. Whether you want to start surfing new zealand from scratch, organise a team building weekend away for your staff or give your children the experience of a lifetime at our summer camp, we can cater to your every need…just ask and we will deliver! All equipment provided.

Whether you are a complete beginner, or simply, need to brush up on a few skills, our expert instructors will help you to take your surfing to the next level. Buy singular lessons or get a package deal at a reduced rate! Get the kids off the Xbox and into the water with one of our mangawhai beach school surf lessons. Our after school and holiday programs focus on teaching water safety whilst ensuring the kids have plenty of fun. Perfect for schools and corporate groups; exercise, fun, education, laughter and team bonding through surfing, paddle boarding & kayaking. Suitable for people of ALL ages and skill levels and available all year-round.

Learn to surf, build ocean confidence and have fun with the girls! Get out in the water consistently and improve your surfing skills with our Surf Sistas girls only surfing club. Grab your gear and hit up some of the most consistent surf forecast nz east coast: Te Arai, Forestry Mangawhai, surf report NZ, Langs, Waipu and some of our best secret spots. The ultimate surf getaway! Escape the city with a stay in our brand new, modern Eco Pods. Expect unparalleled panoramic ocean views. Our surf lessons run all year round and are available for surfers of all skill levels. Our home turf, the beautiful Te Arai, is rated Auckland’s number one beach on the East Coast (NZ Herald 2018). It boasts white sand, crystal clear blue water and safe, easy and consistent waves which are perfect for beginner and intermediate lessons. In addition to Te Arai, we have access to a variety of other East Coast beaches, including Orewa, Omaha and Pakiri. All equipment provided during surf lessons or Surf Forecast Nz!

Get out on the water with a sport designed with everyone in mind! Stand Up Paddle Board NZ (SUP) is safe, fun and easy and we will make sure you have a great experience. All lessons include the use of our fleet of Ocean & Earth Squeeze Boards and high end Surftec Balboas; these SUP boards are stable and easy to use no matter your skill level. You won’t get wet unless you jump in! All equipment provided by Aotearoa Surf.
