ATLAS Jewellery was founded by M.M. Ramachandran in 1981 in Kuwait City. The only assets in our store then were two kilograms of gold and a few goldsmiths. In the last three decades ATLAS has gone from those modest beginnings to being a major ISO Certified jewellery retail experience with over 50 establishments and a store in every major business market in the GCC.

Our celebrated founder, M.M. Ramachandran, built our organization from the ground, dramatically expanded its foundations, introduced a rollercoaster of promotions adding even greater value to our products and services and has architected the rise of ATLAS to starry heights while he went on to become one of the “100 Most Powerful Indians in the GCC”. As we begin to embark upon our fourth decade of achievement, we recognize that there are still more mountains to climb and his great legacy continues to motivate and inspire us.

We are on a journey to building a spectacular organization. Our vision for ATLAS is clear and simple: to build a distinct image and be recognized as the region’s leading jewellery retailer. We are already one of the largest players in 22k jewellery and now we strive to establish our brand as the market leader.
