General information

GeoRevive®, was developed in Germany and offers benefits that are prerequisites for the cultivation of arid and semi-arid areas. It is a water-retaining product, which can be intermixed with existing soil or sand. The invention is a store for supplying liquid to plants. The product has a positive impact on plants and can be used at home, in gardens, and on short grassed sport grounds like golf courses, football fields, horse race tracks etc.

- Reduced cost of Irrigation
- Once GeoRevive® has been placed into the ground, its storage capacity prevents the water from seeping away. As a result, it substantially reduces the water requirement in crop cultivation, and this, in fact, over a period of approximately 8 years. It can thus be seen that GeoRevive® will reduce the employee input due to longer intervals between irrigation periods. Thanks to its hydrophilic property, GeoRevive® prevents the loss of large amounts of irrigated water seeping away unused. Therefore, with the help of GeoRevive®, the amount of water usually required for irrigation in arid regions can be drastically reduced (up to 90%). When the product is used, the need for daily irrigation no longer exists.

Environmental Benefits:

- Prevention of Salinization
- Giving credit to its excellent insulation effect, GeoRevive® prevents evaporation of irrigation water because capillary suction of the top layer is reduced. This means that salt can no longer accumulate at the surface.
Usually, the remaining salt from the gain of water in desalination plants is returned into the sea. This leads to a strong salinization of the water close to the coastline and has a very bad impact on the underwater flora and fauna. GeoRevive® saves up to 90% of irrigation water, which means that less activity of desalination plants is needed.
GeoRevive® improves the soil by reducing the dilution of soil nutrients and organisms. The accumulation of humus is supported; a further accumulation of sands and desertification of the soil will be stopped.
