Brand Dahabi was launched by Oman Flour Mills Company SAOG (www.omanflourmills.com) in the year 2001 and since then the brand has grown leaps and bounds. Dahabi has been very recently voted as the Best Brand in Oman, by the people in a survey conducted by Oman Observer in 2011.

The legacy of our products & processes dates back to 1977, when Oman Flour Mills was started as the first food company in Oman by a reputed Private Business Group. Later, the company was acquired completely by the Government of Oman, considering the need for a better national food security.

In 1988, Oman Flour Mills became the first public sector company to be privatized, flagging of the Privatization Strategy in Oman. The Government of Oman, continues to own 51% stake in the company till date and has been a major contributor to the success of the Company.

Oman Flour Mills has always focused on growth and the company feels that Change is the only thing that is constant. From humble beginnings in 1977, the company has grown as one of the largest flour & animal feed manufacturers in the Middle East. The company has set up a corporate level managing company “Atyab Investments” (www.atyabinvestments.com) to focus on business growth and performance improvements.

Setting up of Atyab Investments, enabled executing the diversification strategy of Oman Flour Mills and now the company has transformed into a complete foods conglomerate with business interests in flour, industrial bakery, poultry, hatchery, food distribution & retailing.
