During the last 27 years STEM has been creating evidence base, building competencies and supporting effective decision making in government, private and NGO sectors. The organization has undertaken over 250 research and capacity building assignments. In addition to a multi-disciplinary Core Team professionals, STEM has a national network of project-specific experts in a variety of disciplines such as Urban Development, IEC, finance and economics, statistics, capacity building, environment and forests, public health and hospital administration, community and social development, rural development and poverty alleviation, Master Plan, CDP and DPR etc. STEM has working experience in more than 20 states/UTs. It has access to supervisors and investigators in a number of states of India and networks with local NGOs in these states.
