At Standard Electric, we’ve been providing electrical supply needs and products to our customers for over sixty years. Established on May 1, 1952, by Abe Brand, our company has evolved from a family-owned and operated a one-shop business to a multi-location, 100+ employee-staffed organization. Despite the natural evolution that any long-standing business experiences over the years, we’re proud to remain true to the values and principles that Standard was founded on. From the work-life balance we want for our employees to the way our customers trust our staff to deliver consistently – the culture we’ve built here at Standard begins with servicing and treating everyone like their family.

Currently, with multiple branch locations throughout Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, Standard is a leading regional distributor in the construction/contractor arena. With a National Accounts division that specializes in retail lighting and a healthy commercial and industrial presence, we’re a dominant player in the local market, servicing a number of industries. Standard Electric is a U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. company and our corporate headquarters are located in Wilmington, MA.
