GAIA DAY is a new and unique concept for parents who know that their children are growing beyond the educational confines of Hong Kong schooling.

GAIA DAY is not just about teaching new skills, but about giving your children and teens the confidence to be natural learners.

We focus on how students learn. We foster the attitude that we learn something because it's good to learn, not because of external rewards or punishments. This is why we have built our language programs from the ground up, to focus on content that pulls the student forward.

Singing, reading, speaking: at GAIA the challenges of stories, plots, and activities are the student's challenge and her interest. It's in Spanish? It's in Mandarin? Never mind, let's find out what happened next!

With our extensive experience, we have discovered that students who can't focus for five minutes in an ordinary school setting can suddenly pay attention for hours at a time when the challenge and the drama of finding things out is made right for them.

If we think about it, we realize that children and teens are experiencing, experimenting and learning every waking minute. So if an educator focuses on how to reinforce and sharpen his/her natural ability to learn, then the classroom dynamic is very different, and time flows very differently. Moreover, the results also are very different. When a studen tis already spending hours and hours in a week in a system of rote learning, give them a chance to learn differently!

Many parents opt to give their children sports activities and art classes. However, at GAIA we aim not only to enrich, but to teach that learning is a beautiful activity. After learning languages at GAIA, your children will again treasure books, they will again turn the pages with pleasure.
