General information

What is Ho Fung Channel?
As an organisation in Ho Fung College, we have the following establishments, goals and duties.

Establishment:
To nurture students' self-learning abilities and team-work skills; teach them to be responsible.
To take charge of the audio-visual equipment (AVE) room and all its contents.
To provide updates on the above equipment when needed.
To manage AVE resources.
To facilitate the digital record-keeping (photos, videos, and so on); this will help strengthen students' sense of belonging to the school.
To hone student's creative abilities.
To develop students' and teachers' knowledge of audio-visual and broadcasting.
To facilitate the setting up of a whole-school broadcasting system, and implementation of the EDB's IT in Education policy.
To assist teachers in converting audio-visual files for use in their teaching.
To keep record of equipment borrowed.
To guide users in their use of AVE.
To take change of all AVE-assisted events in the school.
To manage the setting-up and strategic placing of AVE.
To maintain AVE.

Goals:
Form an AVE team; complete training provided by the IT department; thereafter, maintain and be responsible for all AVE in the school.
Collate and store a pool of teaching resources.
Develop and run a central AV control unit.
Assist teachers in the use of multi-media equipment.
Design and manage the AVE system of the school, and develop procedures for its use.

Duties:
Multi-media productions.
The maintenance of the Ho Fung Channel Website.
Photo-taking
Digital-video recording Purchasing and managing digital Audio-Visual equipment
The management of School Photo Album
