岡山県内の備前焼作家、窯元、陶商、陶材業者が伝統の保存と継承、会員の融和、親睦を目的に設立した、全国の産地でも例のない協同組合です。
現在後継者の養成、需要の拡大、窯の煤煙公害対策などに取り組む一方、社会福祉事業や史跡保存などにも積極的に参加しています。
