岡山県西部を流れる高梁川流域の食と作家の店です。国指定重要文化財大橋家住宅の長屋門を改装して、皆様に倉敷の風情を感じて頂き、居心地の良い時間を過ごして頂けるガフェテリアです。「中島屋」は大橋家の屋号を引き継がせて頂きました。カフェでは、昼間は、米麹100％の甘酒や玄米100％の定食、ジビエ（イノシシ、シカ）のカレーなどを召し上がって頂けます。
