朝日新聞厚生文化事業団の社会福祉活動は、1923（大正12）年9月の関東大震災に際して朝日新聞社が取り組んだ被災者救援を機に始まりました。昭和に入って事業団として創立され、2018（平成30）年には創立90周年を迎えます。
これまでの経験と実績をもとに、先駆的な事業に取り組み、皆様の期待に応えていきたいと思います。
