岩手の大自然と深い愛情がはぐくんだ豚肉「折爪三元豚・佐助」は、折爪岳を望む二戸市下斗米の久慈ファームで生産されています。久慈ファームは祖父・佐助が事業として始め、父・周平、そして現社長・久慈剛志へと代々受け継がれてきました。当初取引先は二戸市内の飲食店だけでしたが、噂が噂を呼び現在では全国100店舗にまで広がりました。今後も販路は拡大致します。
