1826年、ハンガリ－のへレンド村に生まれた磁器製作ブランド。2016年には190年を迎える。
19世紀のイギリス ヴィクトリア女王をはじめ、フランスのナポレオン3世妃ウージェニ、開窯当時ハンガリーを統治していたハプスブルク家の皇帝フランツ・ヨ-ゼフの庇護を受け、皇妃エリザベートにも愛された名窯で、当時からヨーロッパ中の王候貴族を魅了する独特の世界を作り上げてきた。現在も世界で最高級のテーブルウェアをはじめとするを窯元として、“手作りの伝統”を守る数少ない窯。
