Mary Carroll Park is a 22 hectare site divided into two wetland areas by Eudoria Street. A Conservation Category Wetland and Bush Forever Site (124), the reserve is a major bird sanctuary important for migratory birds and listed as a ‘must see’ by Birds Australia (National Ornithological Society).The site has major potential for natural recreation, both as a local and regional asset. Existing facilities are basic and include toilets, conventional play equipment, barbecue facilities, seating and walking paths.Within 10 minutes walking distance of the Gosnells Train Station, the site is centrally located, surrounded by residential development and adjoins Gosnells Primary School.
