General information

SMI is engaged in the study, design and installation of complete bottling and packaging lines for beverages and liquid foods manufacturing up to 36,000 bottles/hour.

The large variety of products that SMI complete bottling lines can handle includes both flat liquids (water, milk and oil) and carbonated ones (water and soft drinks), in PET/PP/PEN containers whose capacity can reach 10L.

After an in-depth analysis of the customer’s requirements, SMI can propose customized solutions, providing hi-tech turnkey plants that stand out for low operating costs and great quality/price ratio.

In more detail, SMI product range includes the following machines:

• ECOBLOC® compact systems, bringing together the functions of a rotary stretch-blow moulder (for the production of plastic containers of different capacities, featuring various shapes), a rotary electronic filler and a rotary capper;

• conveyors for the line logistics;

• secondary packaging machines, offering several types of package: shrinkwrapping, trays, cardboard sleeve multipacks and wrap-around cases;

• automatic palletizers, providing each user with the fittest packaging solutions according to his specific needs.

Complete lines manufactured by SMI are complemented with advanced automation and control systems to optimize yield and performance of machines and equipment and to allow an effective management of the bottling plant 's work cycles.
