Inaugurado en 1984 este proyecto fue el fundador de Marival Group. Comenzó con un concepto de Hotel-Condo frente al mar integrado por 354 habitaciones. Este hotel fue un elemento clave para la región, al ser el primero en implementar el concepto Todo Incluido en Nuevo Vallarta bajo el nombre de Jack Tar Village.
Marival Resort & Suites® ha tenido 2 expansiones, en 1997 y 2000, convirtiéndose en uno de los hoteles Todo Incluido mas importantes del área. También ha experimentado una serie de renovaciones y remodelaciones. La más reciente se llevo a cabo en 2014.

Opened in 1984, this resort was Marival Group®’s initial project. This oceanfront property was built according to the Hotel-Condo concept, offering354 rooms. Under the name of Jack Tar Village, this hotel was a key element for the economic development of the region, as it was the first one to implement the All-Inclusive concept in Nuevo Vallarta.
Marival Resort & Suites® has undergone 2 expansions, in 1997 and 2000, becoming one of the most important All-Inclusive hotels in the area. Several renovations and updates have also taken place in the resort. The most recent was carried out in 2014.
