General information
The primary responsibility for the strays is with the municipality (Greek Law 4039). We are all volunteers, and we help as and how we can with limited funds and facilities. We maintain a dog shelter, but we do not have a shelter for cats. We ask all members of the community to assist by fostering an abandoned animal and/or by taking it to the vet for care until we can find a long-term solution. We also need fosters to bottlefeed pups and kittens till they are able to eat on their own.
