Jochen Claussen-Finks graduated from the internationally renowned Ulm School of Design hfg Hochschule für Gestaltung, the direct successor of the Bauhaus. He researched trade fair impact for IBM, Daimler, BMW, Apple, Siemens, Sony, Telekom and others, "brand appearance" and customer relations in form of video interviews and analytical observations as a basis for new concepts. Other activity areas are Trend Research and Style Creation of visual languages through digital and traditional media.
Since 2010 Claussen-Finks is researching worldwide news composing them into structured knowledge called "Changing World News" - A concept for Inspiration. In 2014 he published the documentary trailer “hfg ulm history” with authentic recordings from 1982 of hfg members and started the photo series “Distant Views” with pigment prints on canvas.
