Ab 1998: Erste Bands mieten sich in die ehemalige ORWO Fabrik ein...
2004: Der damalige Vermieter, die TLG, kündigt alle Verträge, die Musiker reagieren mit Protestaktionen
2004: Gründung des ORWOhaus e.V. durch Musiker
2005: Kauf der Musikfabrik ORWOhaus durch den ORWOhaus e.V.
2006: Erstes ORWOhaus Festival
2007: Umbennung der Strasse 13 in "Frank Zappa-Straße" auf Initiative des ORWOhaus e.V.
2009: Erstmals offizielle Nutzungsgenehmigung! Das ORWOhaus steht und ist langfristig gesichert!
Heute: 700 Musiker, 200 Bands, +/- 100 Räume vermietet und einiges mehr in Planung!!!!
