Brannvesenet i Ringerike

General information

Vår hovedstasjon har døgnkassernerte mannskaper og ligger i Hønefoss. Vi har stasjoner med deltidsmannskaper på Nes i Ådal og på Sokna. 62 personer arbeider i hos oss, hvorav 8 i feiervesenet og 21 i deltidsstyrken.
Våre mannskaper har spesialisert seg innen tauredning, og redning på is og vann.
Hovedstasjonen vår i Hønefoss er regionalt aksjonsledd for hendelser med akutt forurensing og farlige stoffer.
Årlig rykker våre mannskaper ut på mer enn 70 oppdrag hvor vi støtter ambulansetjenesten.

Velcome to the official site of Ringerike Fire & Rescue Service. Se serve 36.000 inhabitants in the municipalities of Ringerike and Hole in central Norway. Our district covers 1.750 square kilometers land, with both urban- and rural areas, with forest, lakes and mountains.

We respond to 700 incidents each year, mainly fire and trafic accidents. Our crews are specialized in forest fires, roperescue and waterrescue (both swiftwater and ice). We host a regional response unit for incidents involving hazardous materials on road or rail.

More than 10 % of our calls-outs are on "First Responder"-incidents, where we support the Ambulance Service.

We have three stations; the main station in the town of Hønefoss, and stations with volunteers in Nes i Ådal and Sokna.

Our Service are own by Ringerike municipality.
