Simon David Cleaning Services was first started by Simon Hatherley in 1988 as a commercial window cleaning business in the West End of London. Andrew Hollidge joined the business a few years later.
We noticed that many of our clients used in-house cleaners and that they were not being supervised adequately to ensure a good quality of service.
We saw an opportunity to expand into office cleaning and our aim was to bring a fresh new approach – we offered a good service, for a reasonable price with good reliable staff that were trained and monitored so that standards were kept high. This remains our core ethos today and we now have over 100 cleaning operatives who work across a range of companies from restaurants to galleries and everything in between across Central London.
