General information
Barnet Symphony Orchestra is a very friendly amateur orchestra based in North London. We give musicians the opportunity to play and perform classical music in a fun and sociable setting. We aim for high standards but we firmly believe that playing music should always be enjoyable. The orchestra performs three concerts a year, usually December, March and July and always welcomes new players. There are no formal auditions so if you're interested in playing then get in touch and come along and see what we're like.
We have a professional conductor and leader for all our rehearsals. They both have very distinguished playing backgrounds and this, combined with their willingness to pass on their expertise, really does enhance our music making.
