I have been working as a designer in the refurbishment industry for the past 9 years. During this time I have worked on a multitude of projects from House Extensions, Office Fit-outs, Cafes, Restaurants, Shops, Bars and more.

From redesigning a home office, improving the look of a £2.2m 1960's building or redesigning the look of an ultra modern office block, internally as well as externally.

Following an initial meeting to discuss your requirements and the measuring up of the existing premises, I will draw up 'to scale' plans of a standard that can be used by builders to quote from.

When submitting plans for approval of any work on a building you will need to show existing plans as well as proposed plans.

This is not just for planning purposes but also for building regulations.

Design

As part of the design service once I have existing floor plans I can then start designing the best use of your space.

For your home extension, home office, kitchen, bathroom, or any other room in your house, I can help you make the best use of space by suggesting the best way of laying out your furniture or positioning of walls.

For your commercial premises, I can help you create the right environment for your workforce by highlighting best positions for office desk space and meeting rooms, advising on new office technologies but still keeping inline with building regulations.

For your retail or hospitality premises, I can help you create the right environment for your customer to increase customer satisfaction and advocacy.

VISUALISE

Based on your preferences of the proposed designs and finishes I will produce different levels of visualisations for you, from a simple sketch design to show the layout, to a full life like render with paint colour, fabrics and furniture.

3D visualisations are particularly impactful as they can give you a feeling of being in the room and experiencing how the finished project would look and feel.
