Hello and welcome to my Facebook page for Memory Teds. I hand-make bespoke memory bears from items of clothing belonging to your loved ones. My keepsake bears are the perfect way to capture and treasure those memories that you have of a loved one - from those tiny items of clothing belonging to your precious baby that you just can't bear to throw away; as a special keepsake from clothing that belonged to a lost loved one; as a unique gift for a special occasion; as a mascot made from your school/club/sports uniforms. Whatever your reason for wanting to turn your treasured clothing into a timeless keepsake then Memory Teds will spend hours upon hours planning and designing your bear with love, care and attention to detail so that your bespoke bear can remain very much a part of your family for many years to come.

I hand make each and every Memory Ted and you are guaranteed that no two bears are the same. I work from my home with a home sewing machine and an embroidery machine. I love creating these bears and treat making each one as if I were doing it for myself. My testimonials from previous clients are very positive and it gives me great pleasure knowing the finished Memory Ted is going back to it's owner to begin a new chapter in it's life - much better than those clothes being folded up in a cupboard!

A Memory Ted is priced at £65. Within this price is the option to include personalised machine embroidery on one or both of the bear's feet - yes that means no hidden extra costs! This can be up to three short lines on each foot - typically I'm asked to put names, dates of birth, birth weight, anniversary dates etc but please contact me if you have any special requests and I will always try to accommodate your requirements.

My Memory Teds are made from the clothing you send to me. I use a high quality fusible interfacing (lining) which is imported from the U.S. This adds structure to the bear yet retains the softness of the most delicate fabrics, unlike some cheaper interfacing which gives the material a 'carboard' feel. Each Memory Ted is approximately 18 inches tall when standing (approx. 13 inches sitting down) and has jointed arms and legs. I use a quality polyester stuffing and safety eyes however I must stress that these bears are NOT A TOY. They have not been CE tested and for use only as a keepsake, not suitable for children under 14.
