Lawrence Weston is a post-war housing estate on the north west outskirts of Bristol. Ambition Lawrence Weston was established by a group of residents who wanted to make the area a better place to live, after a decline in services. They've worked hard in partnership with other local and national organisations and managed to secure £1m of funding, influence new development through the Neighbourhood Development Plan, secured a new Lidl supermarket and have plans for a new community hub building. Ambition Lawrence Weston also now runs the Youth Centre, as it faced closure due to council cuts. Please see www.ambitionlw.org/available-spaces/ for more details of the rooms available to hire. All hire fees as used to keep the centre open for the community.
