General information
Wellingborough Judo Club is a small friendly club that was established over thirty years ago. The instructors have many years of martial arts experience between them, and provide a class which is varied in technique and randori, whilst providing an element of fun into the mix.
Wellingborough Judo Club accepts all players from age five upwards. This is the youngest age covered by our insurance. Players at this age will be taught the basic elements of Judo, and when ready, can move into the Mon grade grading system. This is a set of 18 skill levels, which are distinguished by different coloured and banded belts. Regular opportunities for competition also ensure a child's interested is maintained.
All our Judo coaches are BJA registered which involves a Criminal Records Bureau check and participation in Sports Coach UK Child Protection Workshops.
