Wendy at The Yoga Boutique convey yoga’s beautiful power and teachings with love, intelligence and commitment. Shared is a respectful knowledge of alignment and therapeutics, enhancing students' on their journey towards a stronger, flexible, more confident body; allowing each unique individual to function according to their own optimal blueprint. Sessions are planned with a beautiful philosophical theme inviting you to live by your heart’ s desire, explore your own potential and walk with a bounce in your stride.

Wendy holds a Sports Science and Environmental Science Degree MSc (hons). She was a certified school teacher then became a yoga teacher. Although she no longer specialises in teaching children she trained with The Special Yoga Centre which is the UK Centre of Excellence for the training and facilitation of yoga and yoga therapy for children, with an emphasis on children with special needs. She also brings elements of Reiki into her energy-work having studying Reiki Shoden.

Wendy has a strong background in teaching Anusara yoga, Hatha Yoga and more recently took her 300 hour training in Rasa Yoga. Wendy has been a yoga student herself for fifteen years, a teacher for seven. Her primary teachers are Sianna Sherman, and Bridget Woods-Kramer. To the benefit of all Wendy's students, she creatively brings to the mat a wealth of technical knowledge and a heart-orientated philosophy which acknowledges the innate goodness within everyone. Furthermore, she brings her warm and welcoming smile which makes you feel perfectly at home within your own heart.

Wendy offers therapeutic sessions with yoga clients who are looking to heal their bodies from sport injuries, poor posture, misalignments or specific concerns, using extremely safe, natural and anciently effective ways of coming into optimal health. She continues to be intrigued and amazed by the intelligence of the human body and its innate capacity for healing.

Anusara’s Universal Principles of Alignment® are elegant biomechanical principles which are not only fantastic healing tools but great to personally deepen your yoga practice and become stronger with greater energy flow. Though one-to-one sessions, couples or small groups or private sessions, Wendy emphasizes safety through alignment and encourages a deeply mindful yet playful approach to your yoga practice. Through clear, concise and skillful instruction you will learn how to apply these principles of yoga into the motor-memory of your own body. You will receive creative and powerful adjustments bringing your body back into optimal alignment and health. Through Wendy's enthusiasm, dedication, sensitivity and compassion, coupled with teaching-style being very concise, accessable and empowering, you will quickly experience notable changes within your body, mind and heart. Wendy chooses to see the beauty first, thus allowing you too, to see your own potent and luminous potential.
