Acting Out Drama School

General information

Acting Out Drama School are based in Edinburgh. We train actors, singers, speakers and performers.

We love what we do and are passionate about coaching!

We offer courses, workshops and private lessons for all ages and abilities in Acting, Drama, Singing, Dancing, Musical Theatre, Writing, Directing and Public Speaking.

We also come into organisations and provide regular classes or workshops in Acting, Singing, Dancing, Writing, Directing and Public Speaking.

We have classes in Drama, Acting and Performance, Musical Theatre, Public Speaking and Individual Coaching.

All of our teachers are highly trained, experienced and are professional performers.

Acting Out Drama School are registered CPD providers through Education Scotland and a recognised Exam Centre for Trinity College London meaning our students can gain qualifications which are recognised all over the world.

We act as a casting agency for all our students - we want you (or your child) to progress, get experience and work!

We are also a registered educational institution with the National Union of Students, meaning all our students over the age of 15, get a student card and enjoy the benefits of student discounts all over the world (even if they work as well as study).

We are members of Youth Theatre Scotland (Promote YT), a national organisation funded by Creative Scotland and Professional Teaching Associates of the UKA, seeking to promote and develop quality youth theatre in Scotland.

We offer FULL TIME and PART TIME Courses.

"Many of our adults and teenagers get into further education courses in Acting and Performance (including MA, BA, HND, HNC and NC) and others go on to work professionally."

We also try to raise money for a whole range of charities when we perform in shows and events. And we offer various discounts to siblings and students!
