All Kapitan Bath Accessories are made of 100% stainless steel AISI 304 18/10. This material contains 16-18% chromium and 8-10% nickel. The standardized name of the popular steel name 18/10 is GRADE 304. The content of chromium determines its resistance to corrosion. The added nickel allows polishing to a mirror shine, improves corrosion resistance at high temperatures and adds durability. This type of steel is often used for making utensils (pots, platters) and instruments of highest quality and durability.
