General information
The lightship was built by Trinity house after the second world war. not being self propelled she was always towed to a location.
Haslar Marina saved the lightship from the scrapheap in 1993 and renovated it . incorporating installations of showers cubicles on the lower deck and a restaurant and bar on the second deck.
The helicopter landing pad (on the upper deck)is now transformed into one of the best viewing platforms of Portsmouth harbour.
My vision is to bring some life back into the old gal and create a nice restaurant and friendly bar. With seasonal food and to compliment the amazing views.
Weddings party's and meetings catered for with no charge for the hire of the venue.
