Nescot is the only college in Surrey to have a REED NCFE Centre on campus. The REED Employment Centre is open year round, with staff focussed on helping you, whether you’re looking for an Apprenticeship, a work placement as part of your course, a part-time job to fit around your studies or a full-time position once you’ve finished studying at Nescot.

Outstanding Ofsted Grades - At our latest inspection in September 2010 Nescot received outstanding grades which recognised our capacity and determination to provide high quality education for our learners.

High levels of student satisfaction- Our 2013 college survey of Further Education students at Nescot showed 95.5% were satisfied with the teaching and learning on their course, 95% felt safe in college and 93.4% said they were satisfied with the college and their course overall.

This year’s National Student Survey (2013) found 95% of our Higher Education students were satisfied with their course. This compares to a national average of 85%, and puts the college ahead of the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford and the University of Durham

Where is Nescot:
Unlike many colleges, we have a single site, set 70 acres of Surrey green belt in a peaceful setting and providing a safe learning environment - yet the campus is only 30 minutes away from central London by train (with a station conveniently located next to the College). We are only 15 minutes from the M25 and offer a large free on-site car park.

• Beauty & Hairdressing Salon: Our Beauty Therapy students offer a range of beauty and hair treatments to students, staff and members of the public during training sessions in our purpose-designed salons. • Nestots Nursery: Rated Outstanding by Ofsted (2009), a modern purpose-built day care facility with 52 for children aged between 0 and 5 year

• Learning Resource Centre (LRC): We have a purpose built Learning Resources Centre (LRC) where you can use computers, borrow books, DVDs and videos, photocopy and scan, and where you can get assistance to bind your essays and
projects. The study facilities cater for different styles of learning and include, group work, quiet study and silent study.

Resources in the LRC include:
• Approximately 31,000 books, 3,000 ebooks and 1000 DVDs
• Around 100 print journal titles, with access to several hundred more via
internet subscription
• 74 internet-connected, open access PCs
• Wireless to use either a College laptop or your own laptop or netbook
• Web access to the library catalogue and other online resources
• A shop where you can purchase textbooks and stationery
