The inspiration behind establishing a Holistic Health Care Clinic came from the founder and owner. He posed the question to himself: “If I were a patient, looking for the best, most appropriate health care for my health issue, what would I want to find?”. The answer that immediately came to mind was, “A health care clinic which looks at me as an individual. I want to be able to come and meet highly skilled professionals who have a genuine concern for me and helping to address my condition”. After spending many years in healthcare, He realised that the ideal setting would be one where an individual had the opportunity to make use of many different therapies. We all differ in our likes and dislikes. The health issues we can suffer from are also many and varied. It makes sense to have a variety of therapies available, as different disciplines will approach a problem in a slightly different way. If the therapies are all available and housed under one roof, it is a simple and effective way to treat patients. The patient should be viewed holistically, and as an individual. Many different factors can affect how we suffer illness or injury. These need to be looked at in the context of you as a unique individual. Once your problem has been assessed, the most appropriate combination of therapies can be selected by our staff. An important part of successful treatment includes involving the patient in the choices to be made concerning their health. Genuine concern and the skills of the professionals, coupled with your motivation to become healthy and pain free, will mean that treatment will be a positive, pro-active experience.
