Biography
Leon trained as a contemporary dancer at the renowned LABAN Centre (now Trinity Laban) winning the Principal’s Award for Outstanding Achievement and went on to have a successful career as a world wide touring dancer. In 2005 while in the middle of his dance career he trained in Sports Injury Massage and Advanced Bodywork techniques under osteopath Bhavesh Joshi at the London School of Massage. Throughout his dance career he treated some of the worlds best dancers.

In 2008 Leon stopped fulltime dancing due to the birth of his son. He then started choreographing plays and operas winning a prestigious Olivier Award for choreography in 2011 for his work on Suckerpunch at the Royal Court Theatre.

During this period he was studying his Masters of Osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy. Whilst finishing the Masters he taught 1st-5th year medical students non-verbal communication skills at Bart’s and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry at the Royal London Hospital. This was done as part of Performing Medicine a company who provide training to medical students and healthcare practitioners using the performing and visual arts (at undergraduate, postgraduate and a professional development level).

Leon is now a fully qualified osteopath and medical acupuncturist comnituing to treat the capitals dancers and performers as well as his local community.
