The official Facebook page for Bembridge Lifeboat Station (Bembridge RNLI). Situated at Lane End, Bembridge, Isle of Wight, UK. Home of a Tamar Class lifeboat (ON1297) RNLB Alfred Albert Williams (16-17) and a D Class lifeboat (D-778) RNLB Norman Harvey.
Established in 1867 with RNLB City of Worcester as the first lifeboat based where the current Inshore Boathouse is. An Offshore Boathouse was build in 1922 to house RNLB Langham.
The current Offshore Boathouse was completed in October 2010 which was also when ON1297 RNLB Alfred Albert Williams (16-17) was declared operational.
