St Peter's is a high achieving over-subscribed 11 - 16 Catholic High School based in Orrell, Wigan.
Our OFSTED inspection in September 2007 described the school as "outstanding" in every area. The aim of our school is to be "happy and successful" with all pupils having every opportunity to reach their potential in a caring and safe environment. The Catholic ethos is the king-pin of our school and high expectations and standards of discipline mean that teachers can teach and pupils can learn.
Pupils benefit from a wide range of extra-curricular activities across all subject areas including a variety of visits and trips. The school has also achieved Eco Award and Healthy Schools status. The school values the opinion of pupils through the student council and we also value the partnership with parents in ensuring the best for their children.
