The cereals in Pimhill's award-winning range of Oats, Muesli and Flour are all grown the organic, family run farm in Shropshire.
Pimhill Farm was one of the first organic farms in the country.
In 1949 Sam Mayall and his son Richard decided to adopt organic farming methods, moving away from conventional farming which relied on the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals.
Pimhill Farm was one of a tiny group of farms that are now seen as the pioneers of the organic movement.
In the 1950’s Pimhill Mill started with a small hammer mill and Sam Mayall’s special muesli mix. This was based on the original Bircher Benner recipe,
with its emphasis on the goodness of whole raw foods. So began the collection of genuine, tasty and wholesome food that continues to be produced today.
