Newcastle Kitchen and Bedroom Company has grown from a small workshop established in 1996 into a beautifully unique showroom. With inspirational room settings showcasing the true meaning of bespoke, hand crafted furniture. They have joined forces on this exciting new venture with Radiator Worx and Karndean, exhibiting the largest display of designer and bespoke heating solutions and flooring in the North and not forgetting Evolve Systems who are at the forefront for all your digital and lighting requirements, making this the perfect place for all of your interior needs.
Upon entering the showroom the one thing that you cannot help but admire is the quality of the design and the effect of the pieces in this space. From the vast array of incredible designer radiators to the specialised lighting, this opulence continues throughout. The range of product on display here gives you an insight into what is possible; a truly magnificent classical framed kitchen, contemporary designer kitchens, the popular shaker style kitchen and even a hidden studio bar. Every element has been judiciously considered, the constant amalgamation of technology and furniture design in this development is outstanding.
George Campbell the Senior Designer who has worked in the industry for 35 years, greets me with a friendly and professional attitude and a cup of coffee as he explains ‘‘our initial aim when launching the company was to become the destination for a personalised design and quality high end product, creating elegant, timeless pieces of furniture. We like to think that there is something to suit everyone. We manufacture everything in our own workshop which is on site so you can literally see your design coming to life. An exciting addition to what we have to offer is bourn from our partnership with Evolve Systems. Everyone loves music and the movies. We want to create the perfect harmony of sound and vision combined with our beautiful interiors. Blending art and innovation, we create a total home control system to give you complete management at the touch of a button.
The process is very personal and tailored entirely to the client. We meet to discuss every aspect of the design with them, explaining all the products we offer; bespoke hand crafted furniture and fittings, specialist surfaces, state of the art appliances, designer radiators, audio and visual as well as lighting. Sometimes clients aren’t sure exactly what they are looking for, so I create a design brief tailored to the clients individual requirements. I then produce detailed hand-drawn plans, elevations and mood boards. At every stage of the design and build process we liaise with our clients and are dedicated to making the whole experience memorable and enjoyable.’’
It’s this close relationship with clients that produces such fantastic results and something George considers to be the most rewarding aspect of his job. ‘’There is nothing more satisfying than a happy customer who would recommend us without hesitation.’’
Thanks to an expanding client base and increasing demand, they launched the brand new showroom on the 31st January and will be opening the first floor showroom in the spring. George is very enthusiastic about this upcoming expansion; ‘’It’s going to be a creation of a deluxe, loft style apartment, comprising of the largest professional home cinema on display in the North, with a 152’’ screen displaying Sony 4K projection a 7.4 Artcoustic digital surround sound system with luxurious cinema seating and mood lighting, showcasing Evolves niche to its full potential. To compliment this there will be a fully functioning kitchen packed with modern innovations such as steam/ combination ovens, flex-induction hob and an instant boiling, chilled and even sparkling water tap. In addition to this there is going to be a library with a vintage rolling ladder rail with concealed audio visual system, a contempory bedroom with a secret en-suite bathroom. ‘’
