Oxford Classics Art and Antiques is a partnership of two highly regarded experts in the antiques industry. John Langhin has traded as R J Barnes, firstly from his shop in Putney and latterly from Portobello Market in London for over 40 years. Michael Staniforth is a well-known restorer of paintings in the Oxfordshire area. From their base in Eynsham, Oxfordshire, they use their combined experience to source, restore and offer for sale a unique high quality selection of paintings, objects d’art, porcelain and metalware to clients the world over.
The business is recognised for the quality of its stock, for its honesty and integrity and for its specialist knowledge, particularly in Wedgewood and Chinese porcelain.
John Langin is listed in CINOA's 5,000 leading art and antique dealers worldwide and is a LAPADA member.
Viewings are available by appointment at their Eynsham workshop. You will also find John at his stall in Portobello Market, Rodgers Gallery, 65 Portobello Road W112QB every Saturday 7am-5pm.
