DPG Defenders

General information

DPG Defenders is a fully equipped Workshop specialising in LandDefenders.

Founded by Dunstan Greenbank, who was brought up in the Ryedale area of North Yorkshire and where he has lived all his life apart from a short 24 year stint in the British Army.
Dunstan served as a vehicle mechanic within the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers where a day didn`t pass without him either turning spanners or carrying out inspections of 4x4 vehicles. He has carried out repairs all over the world, having served in Bosnia, Falkland Islands, Kosovo, Macedonia, Canada, Germany and Afghanistan, mostly in a bombed out building or muddy field.
Retiring from the Army in 2010, Dunstan worked for a 4x4 expedition preparation company. Here he achieved magazine featured Landrover Series restorations on 2 occasions.

DPG Defenders can carry out anything from a basic service to a full blown nut and bolt restoration of your Landrover Series or Defender.

Chassis Changes and engine conversions also catered for at reasonable rates. Prior to Chassis changes, it is recommended that a vehicle inspection is carried out to ascertain the condition of body/suspension mountings, suspension serviceability and exhaust systems. All chassis change quotes are inclusive of brake pipes (copper nickel), suspension to chassis bushes, axle bump stops and all fixings.

Auxiliary electrical installations are a speciality, whether you want some extra lights, winch installation, split charge system, power sockets including USB, plus much more.

Servicing/minor repairs and MOT preperation of other 4x4 vehicles can also be carried out.
