General information
Batcombe Vale is a small and friendly campsite set in an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' in the rolling hills of Somerset.
The campsite includes thirty individual pitches of mown grass, all adjacent a hard roadway. There are electric hook-ups, water, drainage and rubbish points, a newly refurbished toilet/showers block with free hot water and a chemical disposal unit. We are a dog friendly site.
There are wild gardens, lakes and wooded areas to explore or simply relax and observe the wildlife. Free rowing boats provide fun for children and adults alike. The fishing lake contains carp, tench and rudd up to 20lbs. There are walks of varying lengths from the campsite, including one to the local pub! Within 3 miles, there are 3 good pubs offering excellent food and ale, shops, a cashpoint and a petrol station.
We are open from the first May Bank Holiday to the last Sunday in September for campervans, touring caravans, tents and motorhomes.
