Welcome to Swaledale Holidays, we provide the ideal place to stay in Richmond North Yorkshire if you want to make the most of a town steeped in history, whilst enjoying comfortable living at an affordable price. We are a family run self catering holiday accommodation business, established some 30 years ago in Swaledale, who believe that our visitors’ needs are of the utmost importance which is why they keep coming back time and time again.

The Grove is a Georgian mansion built about 1750 in the centre of Richmond now standing in 1/2 an acre, which has been renovated sympathetically and houses 5 separate apartments each having their own entrance but retaining the part old worldly and part grand traditional charm and original features. We live in the larger apartment and 3 of the others are available on a self catering basis for visitors to the area.

In the visitors apartments Swaledale Holidays provides everything you could possibly need to make your holiday as relaxing as possible at no extra cost. We provide bed linen and a set of 3 towels per person as well as kitchen essentials such as washing up liquid, kitchen paper, foil and cling film so all you require is your clothes food and drink. For the longer stay visitors the apartments are serviced weekly by arrangement at no extra cost.

Well behaved pets are welcome at no extra charge and can be exercised off lead in the safe, gated cobbled court yard, which has a summer house and garden furniture so that you can relax after an enjoyable day exploring the area. Adjacent to the court yard in the grounds there are more than sufficient car parking spaces. The Grove is located in the centre of this beautiful market town of Richmond - voted Best Small Town in The Country in 2009, within easy walking distance of all that it has to offer.
