About Us

We are local family run business renting the latest 2016 portable Hot tubs/Spa's. We aim to provide you with the best level of customer care. Our goal is to ensure that you have the best possible experience from your rental. Our tubs will always be less than 12 months old and therefore are under the manufacturers warranty. This minimizes the chance of equipment failure, however we will always keep back a spare pump just in case! If an incident does happen we will be available to calls as late as 10.30 pm, where we can give advice and if necessary come to sort out the issue. How many other companies offer this level of service?

Background

We personally been using Lay Z Spa's for in excess of 5 years and have found them to be reliable and robust. We were so passionate that we set up a Facebook page to give advice to other owners. This included guides for repair/maintenance and even tips how to reduce running costs etc. We were often contacted to see if we rented them out and initially we couldn't help. Hot tub hire was the next logical step, and so Formby Hot Tub Hire was started! We have never looked back.

We the use the latest 2016 hot tubs (also known as spa's) that come with a patented massage/bubble system and remote controlled LED mood lighting. These are cleaned both before and after use and are set up with the appropriate chemicals at the time of supply.

Each tub includes a protective and thermal mat under the spa and an insulated lid when not being occupied..

The pump/heater should be left running during the rental period to maintain the appropriate temperature. It is thermostatic so will only heat when required.

These are generally most popular for a weekend hire but we would be happy to accommodate weekday rentals or extra days if availability permits. Please feel free to enquire.

We charge £90 per weekend rental and the hot tub will be delivered to your door on Thursday evening. We will also take a £50 damage deposit which is fully refunded if no damage has occurred during the rental. We will set this up and fill and add the appropriate chemicals. The Hot tub will be left to heat. This normally take around 10-12 hours (dependant on outside temperature etc.) The Hot tub will ready the next evening(allowing time for the chemicals to work their magic to provide crystal clear water).

Tubs are great without a gazebo. There is nothing nicer than a soak under the stars, however one can be supplied with a built in fly screen, subject to availability.

All we require is a flat area capable of supporting the filled weight of almost 1300kg (together with the occupants),a patio, strong deck or grassed area would be ideal( although a greater chance of grass finding it's way into the water). We also require an outside tap and power socket. If this is not available, our Tubs are supplied with a 7m Lead so some hirers bring the lead through an open window,cat flaps etc.

Our Pumps have a built in RCD function for safety and are fully cleaned between hires.

We supply chemicals and instructions required for the period of hire.

We will then come to collect on the Sunday evening. We will then empty with our industrial pump collect and take it away.

These are great for couples, a girlie night in,a family get-together, kids summer parties,an anniversary, or simply to spoil yourself after a hard week. Your kids would be forever in your dept for arranging one for the best sleepover or even an end of year celebration.

These are brand new tubs. The led system is something special,the whole tub and water become a light show. Each tub comes complete with a floating Spa bar!! Plastic glasses please.

All our hot tubs we hire out are covered with £1 million public liability insurance.
