Sewing & Knitting Centre Southport has been supplying new & pre owned sewing machines and accessories for over 20 years.
Sue Watson the owner of the shop has been demonstrating and selling machines for over 25 years. Sue took over the business in 2008 and runs the store with assistants Val & Joyce and Sue's daughter Deb. They pride themselves on excellent after sales service and free tuition on machines purchased from the shop
In addition to sewing machine sales we offer a comprehensive repair service and parts supply. We stock a range of wool from Sirdar, Wendy and Robin along with an ever increasing range of haberdashery and quilting related products including Oliver Twist Threads and Stef Francis yarns great for embellishing and threads from Gutermann, Madeira & Mettler.
Sue is a member of the Quilters Guild, Priory Patchers and Bent needle quilting groups and has had her work published in Patchwork & Quilting Magazine.
Sue & her daughter Deb run regular workshops along with Val & tutor Doreen covering everything from getting to know your sewing machine, overlocker projects, experimental textiles and embellisher classes.
