General information
The gPiO box simplifies the process of controlling physical systems. Simply plug the gPiO in to a Raspberry Pi, micro:bit or other computer system and use it with Python, Scratch, C or other programming languages to control a variety of input and output devices
Whilst connected to a computer system, the gPiO switches bulbs, buzzers or a variety of other devices on and off in response to a sequence of commands written in a control program.
Devices that connect to the gPiO include outputs (bulbs, buzzers, motors, and LED lights), inputs (switches e.g. push, light, tilt, proximity and pressure pad) and sensors (proximity sensors and light gates)
The gPiO's rugged design and inbuilt electrical protection circuits makes it ideal for use in both the Secondary and Primary classrooms for monitoring and control.
