Integrated Security was formed in 1998. The company was founded to concentrate on emerging digital technology within the electronic security industry. ISS were at the forefront of this digital revolution and developed an event driven digital recording/Transmission system, which integrated with camera control systems and EPOS equipment. The recorder was unique and used a form of Wavelet compression that enabled the quality of the recorded image to be superior to the few recording systems that were then available. ISS also installed high end Access Control and conventional CCTV systems.
ISS at this time installed systems for:

• Major recycling companies
• Motor sport
• Department Stores
• Manufacturing premises
• Leisure facilities
