German manufacturer Kösener Spielzeug Manufaktur GmbH has been producing toys in the town of Bad Kösen in Germany since 1912. The company produces high quality lifelike plush animals, which today are regarded by connoisseurs as some of the absolute finest soft toys in the world. Their creations are all based on intensive studies of the anatomy and movement of real animals. The company’s designers draw the animals either in their natural habitat when possible or in zoos and then create them in three-dimensional clay models.
