Simply Running has been established since 2001 and is now a leading specialist Running and Triathlon shop in the area, owned and run by husband and wife team, Kevin and Melanie. Both are seasoned athletes with a wealth of experience between them covering a wide range of running related disciplines including track, road, cross country, trail, marathon and ultra distance running plus triathlon. They are very passionate about the sport, taking a keen interest in all their customers, from the complete novice attempting the ‘couch to 5km programme or a sprint triathlon to the athlete wanting to run under 3 hours for the marathon or compete in an Ironman.
So if you are looking for friendly, unbiased and expert advice (and encouragement) about training, correct footwear (video gait analysis is free when purchasing shoes), clothing, nutrition etc, Simply Running is the place to go. Visitors to the shop can also expect a warm welcome from Maisie the scruffy Beddlington Terrier!!!
