I am a self confessed Petrol Head!! The Autocar Storage company started from a passion of anything with wheels and an engine and a spare barn!
But I didn't just want to be just a farmer with space in a dusty old barn where you could stick your car in the corner at your own risk of being eaten by vermin and/or knocked about by the odd stray farm machine.
So we set about doing the job properly. We created a space which is Ideal for the storage of motor cars and motor cycles. A laser levelled and polished concrete floor was laid, All the walls and Roof were insulated with150mm of insulation and then overlaid with a clean white cladding.
Dehumidifyers were installed along with alarm systems and electric points for battery conditioners so that the vehicles can be kept in an ideal and secure environment. All of this powered during the day by PV solar panels on the roof.
Some storage facilities insist that you provide your own insurance but every vehicle store at The Autocar Storage Company is comprehensively insured whilst in our care and for added security we live on site!
We do have a fully equipped workshop from which we can carry out small maintenance jobs but our main passion is for pre-war vintage and veteran motor cars. We specialise in the maintenance and restoration of car of this era.
Within our workshop we have built a Detailing studio and employ the services of Andy Warman , a specialist in the art of high class detailing. This is a service we offer to not only storage customers but Non storage customers as well. Even if you like to detail your cars yourself talk to us about the products we use because the paint protection system we use will help you keep your car in perfect condition.
We can help you organise car Transport through out the UK and Europe and use a range of specialist transport companies.
