About the School:

Phillipa Hogan School of Dance is based in Godalming, South West Surrey, and offers high quality and inspiring dance teaching to children of all standards, with the opportunity to excel. Syllabus classes taught are: RAD Ballet, ISTD Tap, ISTD Modern Theatre and ATOD Contemporary Dance.

Pupils are prepared to the highest standard for entry to the RAD Ballet, ISTD Tap, ISTD Modern Theatre, and Contemporary Dance examinations, and have the opportunity of performing in periodic productions put on by the School.

Talented and gifted pupils are offered additional training classes and are encouraged to audition for vocational dance schools and their Associate Dance Programmes. Our new "Help a Local Child to Dance" Programme provides financial assistance and recognition, through awards and bursaries, for talented local dancers who are inspired by a passion to dance.

Pupils have gone on to perform with the Royal Ballet, the Bolshoi Ballet, in West End productions of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Les Miserables, River Dance, Miss Saigon, London Children’s Ballet, the National Youth Ballet, English Youth Ballet and Surrey Youth Ballet.

Dance classes are available for children of all abilities from the age of 2½ years.

Adult Ballet classes for beginners and more advanced dancers are available.
